NavInfo certified the TISAX Level-3 Assessment

Recently, NavInfo has passed the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) Level-3 assessment, establishing its capability to provide high security products and services for upstream and downstream companies in the automotive industry.

TISAX, initiated in 2017 by the German Automobile Industry Association VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie), and governed by the ENX Association on behalf of VDA, provides a single industry-specific security framework for assessing information security for the wide landscape of suppliers, OEMs, and partners that contribute to the automobile supply chain. The standard is based on ISO27001 and VDA-ISA requirements, and it has been globally recognized as one of the highest security standards in the automotive industry and has been widely accepted by automobile top players.

With the rapid development of intelligent and connected vehicles, the entire automotive industry has the increasing concern regarding information security and risk control throughout the entire life cycle of a vehicle, as well as user privacy, personal data protection and data compliance. Therefore, more and more car manufactures are making TISAX a must-have assessment for cooperation.
